BUILDING A STRONGER PA

Wolf In Sheep's Clothing

Before the democratic primary, why did Secretary Tom Wolf spend millions of dollars of his wealth running television commercials saying that he supports gender equality?

Maybe it’s because out of 26 different senior-level management and board of directors positions, ONLY TWO are filled by women, despite his claims that he has “women in spades” in his company’s management.

That’s wrong.

By comparison, Governor Tom Corbett has many high-ranking women in his administration. Eight out of 13 members of the Governor’s Executive Staff are women, including his chief of staff. The governor also has seven women serving at the head of state agencies. Combined, they are responsible for nearly 80 percent of the state budget.

The difference between Governor Corbett and Secretary Tom Wolf couldn’t be clearer.

No wonder he is spending millions of dollars of his wealth pretending to care about gender equality. Actions speak louder than words, Secretary Wolf!
