HARRISBURG – The Corbett-Cawley campaign released the following statement from Campaign Manager Mike Barley following the final gubernatorial debate in Pittsburgh this evening, where Governor Corbett’s leadership and willingness to take on the tough issues for Pennsylvania’s future were on full display, and in stark contrast to Secretary Tom Wolf’s failure to deliver answers on how much his massive income tax hike would cost hardworking Pennsylvanians.

HARRISBURG – The Corbett-Cawley campaign today announced the confirmation of a successful delivery of the most recent tax data that Secretary Tom Wolf says he needs to give the people of Pennsylvania an idea of how high he wants to raise middle class taxes. The tax data and a shiny new calculator were hand delivered yesterday to Wolf’s campaign headquarters and via USPS Express Mail.

HARRISBURG – The Corbett-Cawley campaign today announced the release of their latest television commercial, “Learning Curve” The ad highlights Tom Wolf making millions of dollars and funding his campaign on the backs of taxpayers.

HARRISBURG – The Corbett-Cawley campaign today hand delivered a copy of the latest tax data from the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue that contains information on taxable income on personal tax returns filed with the Commonwealth. This data, published less than two months ago, contains the data Wolf says he needs to give the people of Pennsylvania an idea of how high he wants to raise middle class taxes. The Corbett-Cawley campaign also provided former Secretary of Revenue Tom Wolf with a brand new calculator to work on the details of his plan.

HARRISBURG – The Corbett-Cawley campaign today released the following statement in response to Secretary Tom Wolf finally coming clean and admitting that households making over $90,000 annually are ‘rich like him’ and should be paying more in taxes. Wolf made his comments this morning in a CBS Philadelphia/KYW Radio debate. Last week, Wolf adamantly said that was not the case and was merely a hypothetical example.

“Secretary Tom Wolf and the public sector unions funding his campaign continue to lie about Governor Corbett’s record on education. The truth is that Pennsylvania is investing more in our public schools than at any time in state history, while reforms to teacher and student evaluations are ensuring our children are getting the education they deserve and training they need for the family-sustaining jobs of the 21^st century. As this report shows, Pennsylvania ranks as the second most teacher-friendly states in the country and the U.S. Chamber recently gave Pennsylvania an “A” for Academic Achievement.
