WOLF UPS THE ANTE ON HIS FLAGRANT HYPOCRISY

HARRISBURG, PA – The Corbett-Cawley campaign today criticized the latest round of flagrant hypocrisy courtesy of millionaire Secretary Tom Wolf who recently stated that he would not run negative campaign ads in his campaign for governor. This latest contradiction from Wolf comes despite the fact that he currently has seven negative campaign ads attacking Governor Tom Corbett. This is just the latest round of hypocrisy from Secretary Tom Wolf who continues to engage in a pattern of conduct plagued with contradictions.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

“You can put lipstick on a pig, but at the end of the day, it is still a pig. In an attempt to out-liberal themselves, the four Democrats running in their party’s gubernatorial primary are expressing their love for Obamacare’s state-run exchanges despite the massive financial failure they have been. No matter how these liberal Democrats spin it, these state-run exchanges have cost taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars. Maybe these liberal gubernatorial candidates would like to ‘phone a friend’ and call the Governors of Massachusetts, Oregon, and Maryland to ask them what a waste of money their state-run exchanges have been. Then again, these four Democrats have been open in their eagerness and willingness to raise taxes on Pennsylvanians, so maybe they just don’t care about the bottom line and expect Pennsylvanians to simply foot the bill for their fiscal recklessness.” -Corbett-Cawley Campaign Manger Mike Barley

PLAGIARISM UPDATE: WOLF IS AT IT AGAIN!

You’ve got to hand it to millionaire Secretary Tom Wolf – he’s so eager to plagiarize everything he possibly can that he even edited his personal (and by “personal” we mean “plagiarized”) campaign plan to more accurately rip off a fictitious campaign that is part of a storyline in House of Cards, a popular Netflix show.

As stated by Time Magazine on February 11, 2014, “A wealthy businessman running for governor [in Pennsylvania] is proudly declaring “a fresh start” as his motto. That sounds an awful like the campaign motto used by Peter Russo, the fictional politician from the Netflix political thriller House of Cards, who was also a Democrat running for Pennsylvania governor.”

CORBETT CAMPAIGN INVITES ALLENTOWN MAYOR ED PAWLOWSKI TO SIGN TAX RETURN PETITION

HARRISBURG, PA – The Corbett Campaign today personally invited Allentown Mayor Ed Pawlowski to sign the campaign’s online petition calling on the Democratic candidates for Governor to publicly release 10 years of personal tax returns. The petition also calls for millionaire Secretary Tom Wolf to release his corporate tax returns due to the vested interest the Pennsylvania taxpayers have in the company that Wolf used as collateral to get a $4.5 million loan to fund his primary campaign. The Corbett Campaign launched the petition on Thursday and said they will be sending personal invitations to the Democratic officials across Pennsylvania who have previously voiced their support for the long-term release of tax returns to sign the Corbett campaign’s petition.
