Tom Wolf's same tired message: Tax the rich

Tom Wolf has shown his fangs early in this fall’s election by announcing he would propose to raise the personal income tax. He would also raise the percentage that the state contributes to public school funding to 50 percent and increase taxes on natural gas drilling companies. He did state that the personal income tax increase would be contingent upon a state-mandated dollar-for-dollar reduction in personal property taxes. Shocking that a Democrat is proposing increased taxes and increased government spending. When has any Democratic government cut spending and demanded that government live within its means?

Apple to provide Pa. educational program

Gov. Corbett announced Tuesday that Apple Inc. would provide a free online educational resource through iTunes that features courses and other programs, such as algebra 1, biology, and English language arts, the core-curriculum subjects that students must pass in order to graduate from high school.

Harris Poll Finds Overwhelming PA Support for Energy Production

Harris Poll released findings today that registered Pennsylvanians of both parties not only support increased energy development, but are more likely to vote for candidates who promote increased production of oil and gas. The poll was conducted on behalf of the American Petroleum Institute.
