Montgomery County firm expands with help from state

Contract research organization PRA will expand its operations in Blue Bell, creating 250 full-time jobs, Gov. Tom Corbett's office announced Wednesday.
PRA, which recently leased 150,000 square feet of space in Blue Bell, is investing $10.9 million in renovations, site improvements, new equipment and training, according to the announcement. The state has awarded PRA several grants, including a $112,500 Guaranteed Free Training grant to be used to train its new workforce and a $750,000 Pennsylvania First Program grant. The company will also receive $750,000 in Job Creation Tax Credits.
