Tom Wolf’s Tax and Spend Agenda Light on Details and Costs of Failed Policies
HARRISBURG – The Corbett-Cawley campaign released the following statement from Campaign Manager Mike Barley following the final gubernatorial debate in Pittsburgh this evening, where Governor Corbett’s leadership and willingness to take on the tough issues for Pennsylvania’s future were on full display, and in stark contrast to Secretary Tom Wolf’s failure to deliver answers on how much his massive income tax hike would cost hardworking Pennsylvanians.
“After three debates, the choice for governor in this race couldn’t be more clear, with Governor Tom Corbett demonstrating the same leadership and resolve that has put Pennsylvania back on track over the last four years,” said Campaign Manager Mike Barley. “Governor Corbett has kept his promise to keep taxes low, create private sector jobs and reform Harrisburg to leave behind a stronger Pennsylvania for our children and grandchildren.”
“Secretary Tom Wolf continues to kick the can down the road, ducking the tough issues and the details on how much his income tax hike will cost Pennsylvania families to appease the needs of the public sector unions funding his campaign. Tom Wolf’s idea of governing is putting the Harrisburg special interests and his own bottom line over hardworking Pennsylvanians.”
