Governor Tom Corbett is sending more than $300,000 in a Keystone Communities grant to Conneaut Lake.

The Department of Community and Economic Development awarded the Borough of Conneaut Lake $375,000 today.

The grant will go towards redevelopment efforts and infrastructure improvements, including phase one of the Conneaut Lake's capital improvements plan.

State officials are hopeful the money will boost the area as a recreational destination.
