Corbett’s Erie campaign stop boosted by support from former governors

Gov. Tom Corbett is in Erie today as he winds up his re-election announcement tour of Pennsylvania cities.
For Corbett, the timing of his speech in Erie comes one day after he received the endorsements of three former state governors — all Republicans — during a campaign event in Hershey.
Those endorsements came in person from Tom Ridge and Mark Schweiker, and via video from Dick Thornburgh.
Corbett will make his pitch for a second term at the Bayfront Sheraton Hotel.He will be joined by his wife, Susan, during the event that begins at 10:30 a.m.
