HARRISBURG – Tom Corbett for Governor Campaign Manager Mike Barley released the following statement regarding Congresswoman Allyson Schwartz’s record of hiking taxes and government spending and called on her to disclose what other taxes and fees she would raise as she implements the same failed Washington, D.C. agenda to Harrisburg:

“As the leading Democratic gubernatorial challenger, Congresswoman Allyson Schwartz should come clean and disclose what other taxes and fees she plans to raise. The Congresswoman has a been a tireless supporter of the extreme, left-wing policies of President Obama and Nancy Pelosi and she should disclose her plans to bring the same broken tax-and-spend agenda that is failing Washington, D.C. to Pennsylvania. We already know the Congresswoman is planning an all-out assault on the energy industry by increasing taxes on natural gas that will lead to higher costs, decrease domestic energy production and put hard-working Pennsylvanians out of work. Congresswoman Schwartz needs to be open and forthright about her plans to raise taxes and fees on the backs of hardworking Pennsylvanians.”
