HARRISBURG, PA – The Corbett-Cawley campaign today released the following statement from Governor Tom Corbett following another positive jobs report for Pennsylvania. According to the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, the state’s unemployment rate is holding steady at 5.6 percent for the month of June – the lowest level since September 2008. The Commonwealth added 5,600 private sector jobs, bringing the total amount of private sector jobs added during Corbett’s term to 184,000.

After more than a day of criticism from fellow state Republicans who accused him of failing to show leadership, Gov. Tom Corbett said Friday that he has worked behind the scenes long enough and will take his cause of pension reform to the public.
