HARRISBURG, PA – The Corbett-Cawley campaign today announced that Texas Governor Rick Perry has endorsed Governor Tom Corbett for re-election. Perry focuses on Pennsylvania’s rebounding economy under Corbett’s leadership that has helped create over 150,000 new private sector jobs and has led to the state’s lowest unemployment rate since September 2008. Perry also makes mention of Corbett helping to make Pennsylvania a national leader in the energy industry.

Hello I’m Texas Governor Rick Perry.

And I’m excited to stand with Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett in support for his reelection effort.

Governor Corbett is a leader who’s building a strong Pennsylvania.

Building a Pennsylvania that cannot only be a leader among states but a leader in the global economy.

Governor Corbett has restored fiscal responsibility to government, he’s eliminated billion dollar deficits and created a business friendly environment that has allowed the private sector to create 150,000 jobs.

Tom Corbett has also made Pennsylvania a leader in the energy industry. He’s helped position Pennsylvania as the second biggest producer of natural gas in the country.

Governor Corbett cares deeply about Pennsylvanians' future and his leadership is putting Pennsylvanians back to work.
