Planning Tom's Northwest Bus Tour

We are so happy to welcome the newest member of our campaign, the More Jobs, Less Taxes Bus!  This weekend was our inaugural bus tour up to the Northwest region of the state. Keep checking back for more information, as Tom will be heading out many more times between now and November 2nd.

On Saturday, we made 7 stops in 6 different counties.  It sure takes a lot of coordination and work to be successful.  But the rewards are great.  There is no better way for Tom to see Pennsylvania and meet Pennsylvanians then face to face during a summer day of shaking hands, meeting small business owners, and seeing the region first hand. 

We really have to thank everyone involved, so much effort and time is put into a day like Saturday by our county coordinators and super volunteers.  Their hard work paid off in a well coordinated day that allowed Tom to meet voters in Tioga, Potter, McKean, Warren, Cameron and Elk counties. 

We hosted meet and greets, stopped into local businesses and visited community events.  Each of these stops wouldn’t have been possible without someone working to determine everything from drive times (for a 45 ft long bus keep in mind!) to supporter invitations to site selection for remarks to site set-up.  

Believe it or not the bus itself is a great way to spread Tom’s message, in designing the shrink wrapping we kept it simple…more jobs…less taxes.  That’s really what Tom’s message is for Pennsylvania, we need both and he has the plan to get it done.

A successful tour like Saturday is a true testament to Tom’s deep support and the willingness of our supporters to work very hard to bring home victory on November 2nd.
