The Momentum Continues! A Headquarters Update

Good news abounds here at Tom Corbett for Governor Headquarters in Harrisburg; we’ve got finance reports, poll numbers and campaign materials to talk about today… not to mention who isn’t in a great mood with this beautiful 80+ degree weather! 

Let’s start with the money…Thanks to our dedicated supporters Tom Corbett for Governor released the highest fundraising totals for the first quarter of 2010 than any other gubernatorial hopeful on either side.  Close to $1.8 million (if you want specifics $1.776 million) for the first two months of this year alone!  Of course we can’t stop here, but wow what a great start to the year.  Donations have come in from all corners of the state, in all amounts and its evident Tom’s belief in fiscal responsibility, limited government and free enterprise is shared by many Pennsylvanians. 

Second batch of good news numbers…Quinnipiac released their most recent PA gubernatorial polling results and you guessed it, Tom’s still on top.  Rohrer garners 7%, while 58% of those polled stand with Tom. 

Another nugget of note… 51% of those Republicans polled by Quinnipiac had a favorable view of Tom, with only a 3% unfav.  And what do you know that brings us right back to thanking our incredible supporters who work tirelessly to ensure Pennsylvanians can make an informed vote in this year’s governor’s race.  And as we know a vote for true leadership in Harrisburg that doesn’t just TALK to Pennsylvanians but listens and does the RIGHT thing…that’s Tom Corbett.
