With a little more than a month until the primary operations at Tom Corbett for Governor are moving along very quickly!
Tom spent the week spreading the word on his commitment to growing jobs and the economy here in Pennsyvlania. He unveiled his small business policy on Tuesday during a visit to H&K Equipment, Inc in Coraopolis, PA outside of Pittsburgh. To make a long story short, small business is a critical and large part of Pennsylvania's economy and Tom believes it is high time we implement policies that support their creation, expansion and success. Currently, regulatory and tax burdens are high on our small business and its time to make our state more hospitable, read the press release from the event or Tom's plan to grow small business here in PA.
Wednesday brought another day and another opportunity to talk economy. During a roundtable with the Indiana/Armstrong Patriots and a visit to the Diamond Pharmacy in Indiana Tom outlined his plans to put Pennsylvania's economy back on the right track if he were elected. This day brought two of my favorite quotes of the week...
“It is time to say “yes” to new jobs, “yes” to certainty for employers and “yes to competition."
and...
"Do your job. Do what you promised." (so simple but so missed by many)
April 15th, Tax Day took Tom back to Indiana where he conducted a roundtable with Tim Burns, Congressional candidate from the 12th District. Tom was happy to accept Tim's endorsement, a fellow public servant who will serve his constiutuents well as their next Congressman.
And the final stop, a Take Back Washington Rally with Pat Toomey and Tim Burns, the best way to wind down the week is to spend an evening thanking and speaking to kind supporters.
Back at the office we are busy fulfilling orders for yard signs, rally signs and bumper stickers...don't miss out place your request today!
And if that's not enough...tune into PCN Sunday at 3 p.m. for airing of the PA Chamber Gubernatorial forum taped earlier this week. All six candidates were in attendance and answered questions on all the issues facing our state. And if you happen to be doing something else with your Sunday...no worries you can catch the re-broadcast at Monday at 9 a.m. and noon. If you dont' receive PCN you can alsostream live from their site.
