In the latest Quinnipiac University poll released yesterday, just 5 days before the primary election, Tom continues to hold a commanding 57-14% lead over his opponent. The poll also shows that as Republican voters continue to get to know Tom and his plans for Pennsylvania they have an overwhelmingly favorable response.
Over the past two weeks Tom has also received endorsements from 5 of Pennsylvania's largest newspapers including The Pittsburgh Tribune Review, The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, The Patriot News in Harrisburg, The Philadelphia Inquirer and The Philadelphia Daily News.
All five papers highlighted Tom's integrity and willingness to take on tough challenges as a key quality needed in Pennsylvania's next Governor. Among the reasons given for supporting Tom Corbett for Governor were his command of economic and transportation funding issues.
The great show of support we have received in this past week is tremendous and confirms that Tom's message of reform and fiscal responsibility resonates with Pennsylvania voters. But we cannot rest now, the primary election is May 18th and we need your help in the closing days volunteering at phone banks, walking door to door, manning a poll on election day and of course making sure you're friends and family hear Tom's message.
Thank you to all who have worked to help Tom up to this point, we hope you'll continue in the final days of the primary to help spread Tom's message and get out the vote for Tom on May 18th.
