With the primary election behind us, we look toward November with our eyes wide open to the challenge that lies ahead. In our democratic opponent we have a career politician whose proposals will subject our state to a third term of Ed Rendell and continue to lead us down a path of big government, increased taxation, record high job losses and the resultant increase in unemployment. I know there are many citizens of the Commonwealth -- republicans, democrats and independents -- who have had enough, are struggling and need relief for their families. I am committed to winning this election in November for every Pennsylvanian and welcome all who believe our next governor must lower spending, reduce taxes and encourage job growth to join our campaign. I believe we must first commit to reforming Harrisburg in order to achieve these goals and that is why I have a comprehensive reform plan which I will submit to the legislature on my first day in office. Throughout my career and in this campaign I have worked to protect the rights and freedoms of all citizens of the Commonwealth and as governor I will continue this effort. I believe we must come together now to ensure a victory in November for a stronger and more prosperous Pennsylvania.
Tom
