LEWISBURG — Tom Corbett made a pledge against implementing any new taxes and that includes one that is slated to be considered by the state legislature in a special session this September.

 

Two new polls show Republican Tom Corbett maintaining a 10-point lead in the governor's race against Democrat Dan Onorato.

KINGSTON – Jim Cawley, Republican candidate for lieutenant governor, said he and GOP gubernatorial nominee Tom Corbett are confident heading into the last 77 days of the campaign, but said they are not taking victory for granted. 

Tom Corbett visited Smethport on Saturday. The Republican Gubernatorial candidate stopped at two of the Borough’s landmark businesses as he stressed the importance of creating and keeping good, well-paying jobs in Pennsylvania.

During his visit to the Warren County Fair Saturday afternoon, Corbett, who serves as the state's attorney general said he wants to match the graduates of today to the current and future job market. As an example, he said the natural gas industry needs welders and electricians. 

COUDERSPORT – PA Attorney General Tom Corbett, who is currently running for the position of PA Governor, made a visit to Coudersport yesterday.

Pennsylvania Attorney General and Republican candidate for governor Tom Corbett visited the area on Saturday evening, spending time at both the Elk County Fair and the St. Marys Airport as part of a bus tour of the area.   

Tom Corbett is putting wheels on his campaign for governor.
