ELIZABETHTOWN — Navigating through the throngs at the annual Elizabethtown Fair, Republican gubernatorial candidate Tom Corbett found good news even at the Democratic Party registration booth.
 

Republican Tom Corbett now holds a 12-point lead over Democrat Dan Onorato in the race for Pennsylvania’s next governor.

And this revelation has nothing to do with lower taxes, budget cuts or health care for all. Job creation is a function of certainty. 

Republican gubernatorial candidate Tom Corbett was elected as the state’s Attorney General in 2004 and re-elected in 2008.

Corbett was an Allegheny County prosecutor before being appointed to the post of assistant U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

He's a veteran who "knows what it is to wear the uniform of this country," one said.

And he will run a state administration that "understands and shares our core values," said another.

Fellow military veterans spoke about Pennsylvania gubernatorial candidate Tom Corbett during a stop Tuesday in Lancaster.

Hershey - Republican Tom Corbett said Democrat Dan Onorato is a "career politician" who will only "tell you half the story."  Onorato said Corbett signed a "hokey" pledge not to raise taxes.
