I vote for candidates I trust and believe in, not because of a special interest ad or campaign flier. My vote is earned, not bought, and the gubernatorial candidate who earned my vote this cycle is Tom Corbett.

I firmly believe that with the many difficult decisions ahead, we need a governor who will consider all the corners of the state, even if they aren’t necessary for his re-election bid.

Republican gubernatorial front-runner Tom Corbett broadened his no-new-taxes pledge Saturday during a televised debate with Democratic rival Dan Onorato, saying it also rules out increases in fees - such as motor-vehicle levies - or employee contributions to the state unemployment trust fund.
