HARRISBURG - The Pennsylvania Tavern Association, the only statewide association exclusively serving retail licensees, proudly endorses Tom Corbett for Governor.
“Unlike his opponent who has levied devastating taxes on our businesses in Allegheny County, Tom Corbett has proven himself to be a friend to small businesses,” said Amy Christie, Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Tavern Association. “Our family-owned small businesses, that employ over 200,000 Commonwealth citizens annually, applaud Tom Corbett's pledge and commitment to help our businesses and families that depend on our establishments for their livelihoods.”
For nearly 70 years, the Pennsylvania Tavern Association has been the voice in Harrisburg for more than 12,000 taverns across the Commonwealth.
“I am pleased to receive the support of the Pennsylvania Tavern Association,” Corbett stated. “These small business owners are essential to our economy and our communities. I believe we must reduce the tax burden on job creators, the backbone of our economy, in order to support our economic engine and make Pennsylvania competitive.”
