Thank you Pennsylvania for this great opportunity to lead our state as your next Governor. We will achieve our common goal of making Pennsylvania a leader again, a leader in business growth, agriculture, job creation, transportation, energy production and education.

We are going to work together to get Pennsylvania back on track and put the people of this great state first.

Tonight I will make you one promise, Jim Cawley and I will govern this great state to the best of our ability and please know that every decision we make will be based on what is in the best interest of you, the hardworking men and women who call Pennsylvania home and our children and grandchildren who are our future.

We now move to the next phase, beginning the process of rebuilding Pennsylvania. We will work to reduce the tax burden on Pennsylvania families and employers. Make meaningful regulatory and legal reform to fix our economic climate. Put together a budget that is on time and cuts waste and abuse. And reform our government to make it work for the people of Pennsylvania. We can rebuild Pennsylvania … and we will do it together!

Thank you all again for your support, for your trust and faith, and for your belief in a Pennsylvania that is number one. It is time now to come together to tell the rest of the world that Pennsylvania is once again open for business.
